Handling and measuring process

Turn on the device, select the correct calibration curve (depending on the paper density) and press the sensor bars of the device against the long side of the roll. The illuminated display immediately shows the measured value. For an average moisture reading or to identify overly wet or dry sections on the roll, simply move the device along the full length of the roll. The humimeter PM5 offers data storage for up to 10.000 readings and the option to enter additional data such as the batch number. The measured values can be transferred to a PC via the USB interface and the data can be archived, exported, processed or printed out using the LogMemorizer® PC software.
