Switch on your measuring device and connect one of the sensors to the evaluation device – the available characteristic curves for the respective sensor are immediately shown on the display.
You can choose from the following sensors: cone sensor for measuring loose cones, lance for measuring in the pressed bale, infrared sensor for non-contact temperature measurement of the hops, air humidity and temperature sensor for measuring the hop equilibrium moisture content in the conditioning and for measuring the relative humidity, e.g. of the exhaust air during the drying process.
Cone and flower sensor:
Fill the measuring chamber with loose cones or flowers and compress the cones using the compression device. Water content and temperature are immediately shown on the display.
Insertion probe:
Stick the lance into the bale and you can immediately see the water content and the temperature of the bale
read the display. (The shell can be pierced with a lance.) The measurement results can be saved using a data logger.
Infrared sensor: Point the non-contact infrared sensor towards the material – the display immediately shows the current temperature.
humidity sensor: The following characteristic curves are available for selection: relative humidity, UGL hops (equilibrium humidity) and absolute humidity. The current temperature and humidity or water content can be read from the display and saved manually or automatically at adjustable intervals.
