Before measuring loose material, the compression plate is mounted. Place the hay probe on the material so that the temperature adapts, pierce the bale of hay or straw with the piercing probe and read the water content and temperature from the LCD after a few seconds. The measured values can be stored on the humimeter FL2 hay moisture meter using the “Hold” function until the next time a button is pressed on the display.

With the exchangeable, stable 0,6 meter long hay measuring probe, other special materials such as cellulose, tobacco or lucerne can also be measured according to your wishes without any problems.
