Handling and measuring process

The humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter with sword probe for measuring moisture in stacks of paper and cardboard. To determine the moisture, the sword probe only needs to be inserted into the stack of paper and left there for a short conditioning time.

The measured values can be recorded on the integrated data logger humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter can be saved and supplemented with further data. You also have the option to use the autolog function. This function automatically saves measured values at adjustable time intervals.

To avoid damaging the sword sensor when using the humimeter To prevent RH5 paper moisture meter in heavy paper stacks, a sword sensor holder and a tool for removing the sword sensor holder are optionally available. Before inserting the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter, the sword sensor holder is moved into the stack of paper and enables measurement without falsifying the measured value. For easy removal of the sword sensor holder after pulling out the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter, the tool is used to remove the sword sensor holder.
At the same time it measures humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter also measures the material temperature and includes this in the calculation of the measurement result. The temperature range is from -10°C to +60°C and can be adjusted to °C or °F as required.

The calibrated measuring range of our humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter ranges from 10% to 100% relative humidity. When using the sword sensor in a stack of paper, the humidity corresponds to the moisture of the paper. Of course this is suitable humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter also for determining the humidity in a room.
Another option of humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter is a serial USB interface for connecting the device to a PC. Using the included LogMemorizer software, the measured values can be read from the device, additional information can be added and the data can be archived, exported and further processed.

For the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter with USB interface, we optionally offer a portable thermal printer with which the measured values can be printed out directly from the device without a PC.
